Sow

Fill a square tray to a height of 4-5 centimetres with Cellmax Biosoilmix. Prick with your finger in the tray filled with soil to a depth of 0.5 centimetres. Sow a few seeds in the holes. Then cover the holes again with Cellmax Biosoilmix. The seeds of microgreens, micro-greens and cresses are very small. For guaranteed seed growth, fill each hole with several seeds. Then cover the dimples with a thin layer of your Cellmax Biosoilmix. Most microgreen seeds can be bought online or at better garden centres. By using the Bio Rootbooster, your microgreens will root quickly and healthily. Without any use of animal fertilisers, you grow art for your plate.

Water

Water the crop gently. This way, you make sure the seeds do not wash away to another part of the container. To let the microgreens or cresses root well, use Cellmax Bio Rootbooster. You will ensure strong and healthy root growth in the plants. Keep the soil well moist so that the seeds can absorb enough moisture. The soil should remain slightly moist for optimum growth.

Sunlight

Microgreens, micro-vegetables or cresses need sunlight. Choose a spot where the crop is not exposed to direct sunlight. That way, you will ensure that the micro-greens do not burn.

Harvesting

Cut the crop when the microgreens, micro-greens or cresses are fully grown. After harvesting, do not store the harvested crops for too long. Always keep the microgreens, micro-greens or cresses moist. The crop will stay good in the fridge for about 2 to 3 days. Choose the meal or salad you would like to add cresses or microgreens to.
