Lowering pH during the vegetative phase
Cellmax pH-Grow is a concentrated pH down product for feed water during the growth phase of plants. The product is used when the pH value is too high after adding plant feed and supplements. By lowering the pH in a controlled manner, you can better adjust the nutrient solution to the growing medium and feeding schedule used.
The pH value indicates how acidic or basic a solution is. This value influences the availability of nutrients. When the pH falls outside the desired range, plants can absorb certain nutrients less easily, even if they are sufficiently present in the nutrient solution.
Why lower the pH of feed water?
Tap water does not have the same composition everywhere. The pH and hardness vary by region and can also change when you mix base nutrients, boosters and other additives into the water. As a result, the pH of the final nutrient solution may turn out higher than desired.
With Cellmax pH- Grow you can lower a too high pH value step by step. The product is specifically intended for use during the growth period, in which plants mainly develop roots, stems and leaves.
Usage
- Add pH-Grow in very small doses (2ml/L) to the nutrient tank.
- Check the pH value until the desired pH value is reached (5.2-6.4).
- Stir well before each measurement.
